Daniel ran his own business the hard way first: every job done personally, for years, before working out which ones grew the firm. That experience is what he brings to yours. He runs the Diagnosis and discovery, sits with you through what it finds, and then builds the dashboards, systems and automation that make the fix permanent.
"I did every job in the building before I learned which ones were mine. You can skip that part."
Mel is the craft half of Koku & Co. He designs and builds the brand, the website, and the campaigns that carry it: the parts of your business a customer touches before they ever talk to you. He stays with it from the first sketch to the last line of code, so the brand and the site that carries it are built by the same hand.
"If the website is doing its job, you never have to think about the website."
Marketing and the ongoing retainer are shared work. Once something is off your plate, both of us are responsible for it staying off.
Daniel runs discovery. The Checkup is the light version, and the work we do together goes deeper into where your hours and your money go.
Daniel sits down with you and goes through what we found, what it costs you, and what we'd do about it. You can push back on any of it.
The work splits by craft. Systems and dashboards go to Daniel, and the brand, the website, and anything a customer sees goes to Mel.
We both stay to run what we built: the site, the campaigns, the systems, and the upkeep.
"Koku" is the word Japanese cooks use for the depth a broth only gets from hours on a low flame. We named the company after it because that's the kind of work we believe in: slow, steady, and built to last.

There's no form here and nobody working from a script. Email us and one of us writes back personally, because there isn't anyone else it could be.
