Small business web design and redesign
Help people understand what you offer, see the quality of your work, and take the next step.
We design and redesign websites for independent businesses, bringing content, visual identity, and the route to inquire, book, or buy together. Start with a new site or one your business has outgrown.
What we can help with
- Structure and message. Organize your services and the questions customers need answered, with writing support agreed around the project.
- A consistent design. Bring your identity, photography, and content together in layouts that work on phones and larger screens.
- A useful next step. Shape the inquiry, booking, or order journey around what the customer needs to do and what your team needs to receive.
- Search and launch foundations. Agreed page titles, internal links, indexing checks, page and form testing, and a practical handover.
Website projects start at $2,500 USD. Your proposal defines the pages, content support, features, review rounds, and launch work included. A larger redesign is quoted around its actual scope. Brand identity, business systems, website care, and SEO & content are scoped separately.

Website redesign services
An outdated layout may be only part of the problem. Your services may have changed, important information may be hard to find, or an inquiry may arrive without the details your team needs.
We review the pages, content, and customer journey before deciding what to keep and what to change. The agreed redesign can include a clearer page structure, refreshed layouts, writing support, and a more useful inquiry or booking path.
When the work also needs custom booking, payment, or customer tools, we plan that as a separate business-systems project.
Web design in practice
For Aloha Florals 808, we put photography and published pricing together so visitors can explore the flowers with a budget in mind. Wedding and lei inquiries ask different questions, so each request includes details relevant to the order.
For Migiwa Yoga Space, we brought Japanese and English class information together with availability and booking. The chosen session stays visible through sign-in, so a student can keep track of what they're booking.
Migiwa's ticket books, payment choices, and owner tools are part of a custom studio platform. We scope systems work separately from website design and redesign.
Client feedback
We provided photos and a general idea of how we wanted our website to feel, and the result was gorgeous. Our website now lets clients see our past work and pricing. Since launch, we’ve seen an increase in website traffic and already received more leads than with our previous site. Thank you for the amazing support!

How the project works
- Agree on the job. We review your business, current website, priorities, and customer journey, then define the scope, fee, milestones, and responsibilities.
- Shape the pages. We organize the content and develop the agreed design. You review the work at defined stages and approve the business facts and final copy.
- Build, check, and launch. We check the agreed pages, customer actions, mobile layouts, keyboard use, and any redirects. After your approval, we launch and document the accounts and ongoing responsibilities.
Questions before we begin
Do we need all our content ready?
Bring what you have: your current website, service information, images you have permission to use, and the questions customers ask. We can scope help organizing or writing the content. Your proposal makes clear who supplies photography and copy, who approves them, and how many review rounds are included.
Do we need a new brand identity?
We can work with an identity that already fits your business. If the message or visual direction needs attention, we can scope focused brand work alongside the website. Brand identity has its own deliverables, reviews, and fee.
Can you connect our booking, payment, or customer tools?
We assess the tools you use and choose a suitable connection where it meets the need. The proposal names the workflow, access requirements, third-party fees, tests, and support responsibilities. Custom systems and migration need their own estimate.
What happens to our existing pages and links?
We review the pages and addresses worth retaining before the build. Where URLs change, we map them to relevant destinations and check the agreed redirects at launch. Google's migration guidance explains this approach. Search rankings cannot be guaranteed.
What happens after launch?
We agree on account ownership, access, billing, and handover during planning. Optional website care covers the agreed maintenance and minor edits. Optional SEO & content covers continuing search and content work. You can choose either or combine them with separate scopes and fees.
How long will the project take?
Timing depends on the pages, content, features, access, and approvals. We agree on milestones after reviewing those needs, including what you need to supply and who signs off before launch.
